Specific Need

Clean water and sanitation is one of Rotary International’s seven primary areas of focus

Konza Rotary's signature event, Water Matters Day raises and donates funds to support worthwhile water-related projects here in Kansas and abroad.

Water Matters Day's exciting partnership with Sunset Zoo allows us to reach hundreds of adults and kids with great information and fun, educational activities about water and how we can all enjoy and use it more responsibly.

This engaging experience for the whole family occurs at the beautiful Sunset Zoo, and features booths, giveaways, food, activities and prizes, with excellent visibility for corporate sponsors and exhibitors. We even hold a poster contest about using water wisely

The result? Funds that help the residents of small cities in Kansas rebuild their own water systems. Funds that support sustainable projects to bring clean water to children and families. Funds that help in some small way to alleviate the suffering that arises from a lack of clean, accessible water.
